This is a common question, and the answer is, mostly the same.
Through the last 2 years we’ve found that telehealth vists are sometimes better than in person visits because we use the screen and your surroundings to tell us where center is.
A typical session whether in person or virtual includes a posture assessment, gait assessment, and movement screen. After assessment, exercise and movement prescription is easy.
The hardest part of a virtual visit is the client has to learn to listen to their body in very subtle ways and to provide that feedback to the practitioner. This is invaluable to the client in their healing process because they start to understand the available movement and how to correct the missing movement.
With virtual visits you have the leeway of time. There is generally a block of time alloted between your appointment and the next.
